Fostering Bartow
Fostering Bartow is a community-driven initiative dedicated to supporting foster children and the families who care for them in Bartow County. By connecting local churches, businesses, and individuals, Fostering Bartow works to ensure that no foster family walks alone. Through resources, training, and meaningful partnerships, we help meet practical needs, provide encouragement, and create a stronger, more supportive network for everyone involved in foster care.
BARTOW INITIATIVES
FOSTER FRIENDLY BARTOW
Cartersville is a Foster Friendly city in partnership with Georgia Kids Belong- a special designation that reflects a community committed to showing up for foster families. Businesses, churches, and local organizations rally together in practical ways to support and equip those caring for vulnerable children. When a city comes together like this, it creates real, lasting impact- and there’s a place for everyone to be part of it.
SUPPORT GROUP
This support group is a space for foster parents to come as they are- honest, tired, hopeful-and be met with understanding and encouragement. Together, we share the hard and the holy, support one another in real, practical ways, and anchor it all in our faith. Through prayer, community, and truth, we remind each other that we’re not doing this alone.
FOSTER PARENT ASSOCIATION
The Bartow Foster Parent Association is a community designed to support and equip foster families in real, practical ways. We offer free childcare so you can show up, breathe, and invest in yourself, along with training hours and content tailored to the unique challenges of foster care—helping you feel more confident and equipped for your specific journey.
